OUR STORY

A family-owned business with construction experience at its core.

Cardex is a proudly family-owned groundworks and civil engineering contractor with over 40 years’ experience in the industry.

The business is led by founder and Managing Director William, who followed in the footsteps of his father from an early age. That background has shaped the way Cardex works today: practical, hands-on, accountable and focused on delivering projects properly from start to finish.

We understand that every successful project relies on clear communication, reliable people, the right machinery and a safe, efficient approach on site.

OUR EXPERIENCE

Supporting commercial and residential projects across the UK.

Over the years, Cardex has built a strong client base across the commercial and residential sectors.

Our teams support a wide range of project types, including commercial developments, housing schemes, residential projects, infrastructure works and site completion packages.

Whether we are preparing a site, installing infrastructure, supporting substructure works or completing surfacing and landscaping, our focus remains the same: deliver efficiently, safely and to a high standard.

PLANT, MACHINERY & TECHNOLOGY

Our in-house plant

Cardex operates its own fleet of plant and machinery, including mini diggers, dumpers, dozers, rollers, compactors and large excavators.

Keeping plant in-house allows us to mobilise quickly, maintain greater control over availability and sequencing, and support efficient delivery across different stages of a project.

Our CAT dozers are supported by Trimble Earthworks technology, helping improve accuracy, productivity and consistency across earthworks, cut-and-fill and site levelling packages.
